How to listen to radio in Iowa: Find stations, listen online or download app
- by admin
Radio stations have been the backbone of Iowa’s digital radio market for years, but it hasn’t been easy to find them on the app.
Iowa Public Radio is working to get them there, with a new app that aims to be the first to get listeners the station they want on any device.
The app is available now, and the radio stations can be found in the radio app, the iReport app, and in the iRADIO app.
The app is still a work in progress.
If you need to download a station, just tap on it and you’ll be taken to the stations webpage.
To find stations, just swipe down on the radio icon on the top right corner of the screen.
You’ll see the station’s name, the station logo and a description of what you’re looking for.
Radio stations are usually about 5-10 minutes in length, with the stations usually being in the 50-60 minute range.
“The goal is to be able to find a station and listen to it while you are in Iowa,” said Kasey Johnson, director of marketing and communications at the iRadio team.
I’m still working on a list of all the stations that we’ll have, but I think we’re going to be pretty successful at it,” she said.
There’s also a new radio app for iOS that allows you to listen online, with stations from the radio, iReport, and iReport radio apps.
It can be accessed through the app or the iGuide app, which is available for free on the Apple Store.
Johnson said that the iListen app, on the other hand, will have all the same functionality as the app, but will allow you to download stations and listen online.
